A greeting

Hello, users of the Internet. Welcome to the greatest blog in the world. It's so great, you don't even know it exists. You're not cool enough to read this page, but I'll let you read anyway... for a while.

Let's get things started. There will be full write-ups, speculation, angry rants and reviews later on, but for now, I will wet your appetite with a juicy list. It's my 20 favorite films from 2007, all of which are now available on DVD.

My favorite film of last year, "Ratatouille," might shock (and/or annoy) a few of you (and by a few, I mean the three people who will actually read this blog). I don't want to hear your opinion about it. You are wrong, and that's OK. Go whine about your bad taste somewhere else.

Anyway, here's the list. Sometime soon, I'll post brief write-ups on each that were published late last year in the "greatest publication on the planet."
